Welcome to the NEW Weezie World!

That’s right, Weezie World is back!

Not that I actually went anywhere. Not really. As you may (or may not) have noticed, Weezie World took a bit of a hiatus. Okay, so my last blog post was in 2015, but who’s keeping track?

I no longer have a storefront on Storenvy or Etsy (for a multitude of reasons) and have brought everything into one shiny, new website. There are fewer product listings right now, but that’s only temporary… I have a lot of exciting things planned!

So, what have I been up to during all that time? Well, most recently, I took a trip across the United States. More accurately, drove over 7,000 km in 9 days to see the total solar eclipse that happened in August. I won’t lie – it was worth every single kilometre. Even the ones when I desperately needed to pee and there was nary a stop in sight. If you’re interested, I have a slightly more detailed post on my other blog where you can check out photos and video footage.

It seems I have a bit of a talent for the written word (or, at least, my publishers think so.) And I’ve been writing fiction. Sexy fiction. Like, really sexy. I welcome you to check it out, but if you prefer your kissing books on the more demure side of things, you might want to give it a miss. Sat. Nov. 9: Make It Indie Christmas Fine Craft and Decorative Art Show!

Weezie World & Headhugz will be teaming up at the upcoming Make It Indie Christmas Fine Craft and Decorative Art Show this November 9 (that’s THIS Saturday) in Coburg, Ontario (just a hop, skip and a jump from Toronto on the 401!)

Make It Indie is an independent Fine Craft & Decorative Art Show whose mandate is to encourage, support and promote regional artists and artisans who unabashedly make it, make it independently and support each other in the process.

Admission: $2 (kids are free!)

I’ll have a whole slew of new items on hand, including some fun Christmas décor (wine charms, ornaments, napkin rings) and these funky new keychains — made in honour of the upcoming 50th Anniversary episode of Doctor Who!

(Incidentally — if these strike your fancy and you’re a bit geographically challenged with regard to the Cobourg event… never fear! You can find them HERE as well.)

Customize your bling!

Did you know that you can request customization of any of my jewellery pieces? If you see something you like but might prefer a different size, length, colour, etc. – just drop me a line (here or via storenvy) and let me know your preference.

I’ll do my best to accommodate any request!

Here’s an example of one such request: the original earrings were too long for this customer’s taste, so I made another pair at about a third the length.
